Re: Rap/Hip Hop Fans Out there

    I dont mind Rap/Hip-Hop.
Really it is just like any music.
And music is a way of expressing yourself, if you listen to the lyrics in the song then it can be great.

My fav atm is a old song.

    Biggie Smalls & P.Diddy - Victory
    Also
Body Head Bangerz - Cant Be Touched

But to anyone that says rap is crap.. This comment can be very offensive to people who actually like it. Instead say something like "Well i personally dont like rap.. I prefer Blah Blah Blah"

Quit the spammage. Rap's something you DON'T wanna diss. This is probably the most well-known one I can think of on top of my head: [youtubevid]2cjv7hEAytU[/youtubevid]

Hiphop is arguably garbage because its all about money, sex, drugs and cars with crazy beats in the background. Kinda like this, the musics good but lyrics are shit:

    Wh005h <3's hip-hop

Jedi Mind Tricks/Army of the Pharaohs, Deltron 3030, Sage Francis, ...
The list goes on lol. Rap has gone downhill and it's spiraling the drain now. The crap they play in clubs that people seem to like to dance to angers me lol it just sucks.
Sage Francis is probably my favorite next to JMT.

I like rap/hip-hop but mostly old school, all the new shit sucks.

And pfa, rap/hiphop never used to be just about money, sex, drugs, and crimes etc..it was mostly about reality, public enemy, grandmaster flash and the juice crew (kane especially) kept it real.

Pfa you should listen to a song called "Dance With The Devil" by Immortal Technique I think it's a perfect example of what Weve is saying. Just a fair warning though, it's a fairly graphic song in terms of subject matter and the actions taken in it. But what the hell this is the internet so just ignore that like everyone else and go listen to it lol

jeez.. almost missed that. well I'm really talking about the new mainstream ones. How often do you see Immortal Technique on Much Music or MTV... there you go.

I didn't mean to say all hip-hop sucks, just most you see mainstream. I mean it sounds good or whatever but the message is not the same. I still think oldschool raps better than what kids see on TV these days.

k clarification redeems you ^_^ I don't even pay attention to the music on TV for all I care they can take it all off... I tried to explain to my dad that I the music I listen to is all non-mainstream and he couldn't grasp it lol
I think the only non-underground hip-hop I listen to is Fort Minor and I only have 1 album by them and I only listen to like 4 of the songs.

Tupac - Changes would have to be one of the greatest songs of all time, and Hail Mary.

I agree with most the mainstream being crappy but there are still some good ones.
