I'm needing some sound effects for RZA. I'm wondering if any of you can lead me into the right direction :P
What I need is basically pain and suffering/screaming/whatever sound effects.
What I'm really looking for is:
- Mortal Kombat 4 ESPECIALLY male screaming in pain sound effects.
- Random screams like "My leg!" etc that I could use
I've been looking a while on the net for the mk4 sounds but its hard to find since the game was on nintendo 64, I'll keep looking, and My leg! thing, you can always request that someone on TeamSpeak of the IRC server sais/screams it ...
im gonna try to get my hands on the pc version of mk4 and see what i can do there

just download the original game, and look for sound conversion software.
usually games use .ogg and .wav files so it should be good enough
i dunno how to extract the .dat file. its like FILESYS.DAT or something that contains all of the game files. i've trained that sourceforge opensource dos thing and it didnt work. i really need these sounds.
unless you just record them as they are being used i dont think you can do anything.
yeha recording would be the best solution unless you how to take to sound
