Your naming punk bands and no one has said "The Ramones"... WHY???? probably teh only good punk band.
They are, but they're good. I have 578 songs on my iPod right now from all of them, plus these new one's people keep telling me about. Although my limit is getting there, my friend has the same iPod and hers can only reach to 660, so I've got some deciding to do.Originally Posted by frozenrat

That's not music; that's pop-culture.
Thanks FMK, i'll be sure to check them out.
Tokio Hotel
Coldplay
Green Day
Nirvana
AC/DC
Linkin Park
Paramore [RULEZ]
The all american rejects.
All that you did FullMetakKite was post a bunch of emo bands. No punk.
I don't think he was stating punk bands. He was just giving a list of somewhat varied genres.
And no, AC/DC, Nirvana and Coldplay aren't punk or 'poser punk' at all. And I'm pretty sure All American Rejects are pop rock,
And yeah there is a BIG DIFFERENCE when it comes to music and popular culture.
A George Benson fan is a music fan.
A Tommy Emanuelle fan is a music fan.
A Birney Spears fan is a popular-culture fan.
A person who heard that x band (We'll take Fall Out Boy as an example) has released a new album, will 'endorse' is without even listening to it.
A person who switches on MTV and likes 90% or more on there, are probably popular-culture fans.
Ill just post my iTunes List.
