    Re: True hip hop.

There's no true hip hop. There's hip hop back then and then there's hip hop made for mainstream.
Why argue? People have different taste in music and hearing another persons opinion about your music taste won't change the fact that you'd still listen to the same music.

    But whatever, argue away.

    Re: True hip hop.

I agree man,you can't make a list of artist and slap a label on them with "real hip-hop".

And also,I'm with any hip-hop artist on this one, even the ones I don't like. But don't hate the artist, hate the people who listen to their music and bought it,if you think their music was bad anyways...

I'm not gonna list "real hip-hop",just artist I like.

    -Kanye West
-Used to like 50,his old stuff. But now his new singles are crap.
-Young Jeezy,I dont like his name. He's cool from a person from the south.Y'know where they create all dem lean and rock songs, which I dont like.
    -Eminem,I don't have to stretch this,when I say he's a phenom rapper.
-Lil Jon,who doesn't like those okayyyys and yeaaaas!!!Plus hes a helluva producer.

well true hip hop doesnt exist cause now they care more about money cause u see today a rapper full of bling blings gold watches their name written with diamonds gold watches and very expensive and modded cars.
They think about their songs but they think more about money -_-
here is a list of those who live and i think they are real rappers:
    Dr.Dre
    Akon
    Kanye West
RUN DMC (1 of them i think died) (they were singing at the 80's)
    some songs from 50Cent
    and some songs of Eminem

    Re: True hip hop.

I just wonder, september 11th.Kanye and Fif's albums are both released that day.I'm not surprised if no one around here hasn't heard this yet.

Who's album are you going to buy/download from?

Most reactions I got was Kanye.Fif,hes just playin around and BS'ing around this album.

And this quote here"If Kanye's album sells more than mines, then I won't make any more albums.I will still collaborate and write songs for other artist though."

Thats not the real quote, but basically thats what hes saying. So if you dont want to hear anymore fif then go buy Kanye album.Me,I'm gonna buy Kanye's,but his song "can't tell me nothin" just captures me.It's a soulful type song, with deep meaning. His words are deep. But then again,I wont buy it.Because its a waste of money to buy an album for one song.
