Not very popular but the guitarist from Iced Earth and the singer from Blind Guardian are the two guys who make up this band. They pretty damn good too.

So I've been playing bass guitar since 5th grade. I am now a bass guitar teacher. So I thought I would share my bass guitar idol. In my opinion he is one of the best slap bassist out there. His speed is just jaw dropping, but you'll have to see for yourself.

The first link is a video of him playing a funk style of Amazing Grace in mostly harmonics. (And if you're a guitarist, you know how hard it is to get good sounding harmonics when you're playing fast.) I felt that this did not belong in the video section, beings it has more to do with music then other things.

The second link is an accumulation of his warm ups that he put into a song a few years ago called,
