ayreon is pretty unknown of, made music with some of the best musicaians and vocalists around today... can pretty much garentee hes worked with 1 of your faviourite musicains on 1 track or another :)

made so many varients of metal from gothic to prog to power to space to death

u can download loads of short clips just to get an idea of the sound but the music varies so much it can be hit or miss.

also the godo thing is every time i emailed the guy he has gotten back to me.. not many musicians that havent worked with the range or stars he has would do that so it speaks volumes

not bad :) feels good to listen to stuff that doesn't hurt my ears >_< but you can never really have a super-awesome band with killer vocals :\ ( I thinking like children of bodom-their vocals)

I've heard of a metal band which I liked when I heard it on the metal channel (gotta absorb different tastes of metal, aye :p) Their called "Invocation Of Nehek" but I can't find anything on them o.o''

LOL it's obvious that you are from US :punch: All these are pretty (or BIG TIME) famous metal bands in Europe. But it's cool to see that you guys are trying to reach out for them.
Here you are few Unheard of bands...

MOONDIVE - Power/progressive/sympho metal with female vocalist
    www.myspace.com/moondiveband
    DECONTROLLED - Progressive/modern/death/NU/metal
    www.myspace.com/decontrolledband
    DECONTROLLED
    STATE OF GRAY - progressive/ambiental/avanguarde/metal
    www.myspace.com/stateofgray
    TIARAH - moder/NU/metal core
    Profile undergoing maintenance.

Here you are, for now. And the reason I gave mostly MySpace profile URL's is because all these bands have songs uploaded there so you can hear them right away. Enjoy.

Heh, now you make me feel like I'm an ignorant American! I've been listening to these bands for awhile now. I just found some of their CDs in my closet and thought that I'd share with you guys. But, I guess they would be popular in Europe. I still like them though. :P
