WHat do you use to listen to music?

What do you use to listen to your music. computer, home theater?

I use my computer, i have a 2.1 system hooked up, with on bored sound card, the sounds not bad, just as good as my friends 24 bit live.

I want the Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic or X-Fi Elite Pro or a nice Audigy 4 with GigaWorks S750 or Inspire T7900
In total i'm looking at $600 - $1200 CND for it, but i think its worth it, and i do listen to music enoufe to spend $1200 on it.

So lets hear what you all have hooked up and whats playing your music.

I have an Ipod shuffel (>.<) It works well jsut really small, get the ipod video 40 gig if you can, it good, you can watch videos on it, i havn't yet, but i've seen store displays there nice. They've got good sound( I have 320k songs so they are really good), its well worth it.

there is no ipod video 40gig, 320k is decent but it isnt lossless.

best thing ever if you got the space.

    apple lossless in a 60gig ipod :)

but i dont have that :(

In my room I have a 700w stereo hooked up to a 500w surround sound system. So thats about 1200watts of sound just in my room.

in my basement thats another story, thats where my band practices and we've got a LOT of sound down there.

Well i can't judge the quality of that stuff, but you have to remember that size doesn't matter, well to the most part anyway, speaker quality has improved quite a lot, don't get me wrong, the cheap stuff gets worse and worse, and if you don't want to spend much then 20 year old quality speakers will be much better, but if you get some good recent speakers, then you can top quality with very small speakers, speakers that you normally see with a standard bigger type stereo set.
