... What rock band... see the first userbar ... its The Rasmus ...they have very good songs and its a rock band (they also have some rock-metal songs...)

I'll suggest you 3 of their songs
1... "In the Shadows" (Its Fast)
    2... "Sail away" (Its Slow)
    and
3... "Keep your heart broken" (Its... very good)

If you can mimic their style and some moves... :)

Step Up - by Drowning Pool

Iron Maiden for metal. Led Zeppelin for classic rock. Eric Clapton for blues/jazz. And Stevie Ray Vaughn for some sick guitar songs. :P

lol if you wanna vikingize em, play some Amon Amarth, i suggest on death in fire. now really, i suggest you play Soil - Everything, or Disturbed - Prayer. you could play Dark Tranquillity - Monochromatic Stains, too, but i'm not sure if they'll let you. Also, you might wanna play Metallica - Fade to Black, or Metallica - Fuel.

Def Leppard's Pyromania had great songs, most specifically Photograph, Foolin', and Rock of Ages.

or you could try Judas Priest's You've Got Another Thing Comin'

Home town band of mine...Nodes of Ranvier[heavy metal], who have gone National...

I was at a concert they were at yesterday...(With an All Access backstage Pass I might add ;))

    www.myspace.com/nodesofranvier

I recorded most of the concert, well half of it i guess...3 of 6 hours... if you want video of them, I can upload some, but it would take a bit.
