I don't really support the pirating of music. I like to buy my albums so that my money goes to support the artist, however little it may be. But, if you insist on third party downloads, Bit torrent is the most reliable IMO. Pirate Bay seems to get involved in too many legal issues. I wouldn't feel safe downloading from there.

mininova.org would be a good place to start with royalty free music amazon and beatport are also good choices for downloading music and i have to agree with Iron maiden on the topic of supporting the artists buy their music or the only crappy music is getting recognized by the public or even go out the your local vendors and support them

No I won't trust you, especially if your idea of an answer for people with questions is "Google it". If he had edited his thread from something else I would've seen it...and I don't. He's asking for software to download mp3s , not "free mp3" sites. Now, if you want to continue to be a smartass with me I can oblige all day homie.
