thats an epiphone les paul style guitar artist model zakk wylde guitar.
there are 2 huge differences with the gibson and the epiphone version.
the gibson has the EMG active zakk wylde pickups (81/85) and has musch better wood.
the epiphone is just like a standard epiphone les paul paint with the bullseye and some EMG-HZs then the price doubled.
if you want that zakk wylde sound pick up a Schecter C1 Hellraiser, not only does it look badass but it has zakk wyldes pickups AND its cheaper, here is a photo of the beautiful guitar, i almost bought one, but love my ibanez.

For bass tone I like Ibanez, for Jazz I go with Gibson, and everything else Fender.

I'm trying to find which style I like best... the humbucker style Ibanez and gibson has, the 3 single fender has, or a 2 single and 1 humbucker... I think I'll go with the last one..
Go with the Ibanez. Ibanez never fails at sounding great.
well there are a bunch of choices for certain price ranges.
for 300-350 range go with ravenwestguitars.com, unless you are lucky enough to find a good Ibanez RG320DXQM
for 350-450 range its all about the RG350DX or the Jackson DKMGT.
if you are a diehard metalhead, if you want a guitar for under a thousand bucks for looks/sound/quality i thought id never say this but a schecter c1 hellraiser in transparent red, its got zakk wylde pick ups, quilted maple over a neck thru mahogany body with three layer mahogany neck and has abalone binding!!!! plus its string through body for that nice attack like sound.
if you wanna play other styles of music its all about the Ibanez SZ720FM, this thing shreds, it can play blues and jazz, you name it, think of the schecter but with more versatile pickups.
I've seen it. It is a great guitar. Listen to b1zn4tch, he knows more about guitars than me. I have just been a fan of Ibanez for as long as I can remember.
Gibson SG
how ever the epiphone SG is the same just cheaper in price
Fender Strats, Gibson Nighthawks (no longer made), and Gibson Les Pauls are my favs. Fender Teles are great cheap(er) blues axes. (The twang of an acoustic combined with the punch of a Strat)
Ibanez and Jackson are solid guitars for the younger heavier generation. Problem is they aren't versitile. They have a very dull skinny tone which prevents them from playing the blues or jazz properly. If you like heavy stuff, go with either of them and save some bucks. If you want a guitar that will last you for your whole life, then Fender or Gibson it is.
And while Epiphones are decent guitars they are NOT the same as Gibson. Notice the difference in price tag... where do you think that comes from? Wood quality. Eps are made from Gibson's wood scraps basically (and no, I'm not being sarcastic) Intel and AMD do the same thing with their low-end CPUs.

but ftw i'll go with gibson SG with p90 pick-ups coz its my fav guitar XD
