    Recording in a studio is almost $100 an hour, and if you want a good studio its closer to $200 an hour. Then you you have to mix the track, which can take forever....a week on 1 song alone...

    I have my own equipment, (Soundboard, mics, software) I just don't have a place to record. My basement has the acoustics of a gym, and soundproofing is also very expensive.
