Clearly, you don't know what subgenre each band belongs to. not sure if you know at all that Metal is devided into manymanymanymanywaytoomany subgenres. none of the bands mentioned are heavy metal:

Slipknot - NU Metal
Lamb of God - Metalcore\Hardcore
Rammstien - Industrial Metal

I don't know that last two, so I don't know what type of metal are they. but if they're new bands, they are probably Metalcore\Hardcore, New breed (Like Disturbed, for example), or NU Metal.


Yeah, I am a metal-listener. I got about a fav band or two for most types of metal. current fav type is MeloDeath, bands are Dark Tranquillity and RisingMoon.

Umm yeah, when it comes to any kind of metal, Iron_Maiden is the Metal God.
