Dolores O'Riordan from The Cranberries. One of the most talented women singers EVER. She is also a great lyricist. She sings with such passion and meaning. She is a true musician and that's why she is my favorite singer...plus she plays guitar. :thumbsup:

Runner up for me would have to be Annie Lennox. She's a great female vocalist and lyricist as well.
