Lol, Your The first to refer to it as a Civil War,but your not wrong, even though the conflict is mainly between Unionists (loyalists,preotestants) and the Nationalists (Republicans,Catholics), and most of which happened in the north, sparked by Battle Of The Bogside in 1969.
The Official End in 1994 (Bullshit tbh), with the decommision of the IRA. (CIRA Claim to still be active.) Sorry for that brief history lesson, hope it helps you understand the song in greater detail.
