help with c3 client connecting to c4 server

i'm using carnage c4 pack live release, and c3 client, modded system file with almost every files posted, still i get no response after entering account and password, and nothing shown on the auth server either.
some advice please? never had this prob before

Dude you need to change authkey in engine.dll and server protocol from 656 to 530.
