It works perfectly fine for C4, Simply follow these instructions..

1: make a new folder and put npcdatacontrol.exe in it. Also copy npcdata.txt from your scripts file into this new folder.

2: open npcdata.txt in notepad or any text editor, click file, save as, and change it at the bottom from UNICODE to ANSI, save it..

3: open the npcdatacontrol program. (IT MUST BE IN THE SAME DIRECTORY/FOLDER as NPCDATA.TXT, the one you changed to ANSI)

4: Click the button "??,?????", click OK,you will see the info from npcdata start to scroll in the window...

Now you just made a new NPCDATA file with the default rates of 5x,5x,5x,5x,5x of the old file you just used... You will see a new file with that name of the rates in your new folder..

    If the old NPCDATA file was already 10x rates now it's 10x X 5x = 50x rates...

You should try to use a npcdata file that is uneditted at 1x rates... and ALWAYS SAVE A BACKUP COPY of that file...

Now that you have made one, you can use the name of the new file "example" npcdata_exp5_sp5_adena5_drop5_re5.txt to figure out which value adjusts what, another example... change the #'s on the progam to 1,2,3,4,5 and click the buttons again.
Now you see another new file named "npcdata_exp4_sp5_adena3_drop1_re2.txt"

So drop rates is the first #, no idea what RE is (I think resistances/defense of mobs), adena is the third space, exp the 4th, and sp is the 5th and last spot..

Once you are happy with your rates/adjustments open the NEW npcdata file again in notepad and click file , save as, and change it BACK TO UNICODE..

Copy this new file into your scripts folder and rename it back to npcdata.txt and overwrite the old one(MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP!!!!!)

Bingo, worked, new rates, have fun! enjoy!

Thanks man. But I need to change rates down (to 0.5) because I have rates to drop 12x now and I need 6x, and this program cant do 0.5x rates. And toos still dont work if I want to change rates up. Writes, the gremlin have 60.035 (isnt true) which is irregular.

try putting in -1, dont know if that will work, never tried it. If not you gotta search for a clean 1x npcdata file...

isachs, just follow this, and there is no need to edit the mobs one at a time, man.
BTW, the npcdatacontrol.exe program is nice... once you know how to use it lol.

I used it for Karnage's pack, and it works fine, you just need to make sure you save the npcdata file to ANSI before encoding (by default it is in UNICODE format), then when you are done changing the rates, just save the new file to UNICODE, and it will work fine. FYI, Karnage's pack should come out to around 18MB when you are done, and have it saved as unicode.
