Ive tried every guide on this site and I still get the stupid "disconnected from server" at the server list when I try to enter bartz.
leave your id at 1 for all and make sure mssql has 1 for its id as well then it should serialize for you
look for server in lin2db table and change to 1 for id
worldid needs to be 1
mg2005, ur wrong
world id HAS to be the last 1-3 digits of your lan ip
but ID in lin2db is TOTALLy different
its the number of the server, eg server 1 , server 2
not the world id
thats y if u READ carefully, it says id = 1, not worldid
I tried this guide and I still get "disconnected from server" at server list. Ive tried changing all the world id's to 100 (leaving db one at 1) still get the same error. I think my mssql isnt talking to my server the right way. IN the logd exe it says sql queue (0) while I saw a screenshot of someones and it said sql queue (1) sql queue (3) sometimes and the number changed. But for me it hasnt. Ive tried MSDE, MS SQL 2000 (not developers edition because I cant find it)
dam these l2 files to hell lol. Ive never had something computer related annoying me this much.
i heard that this server doesnt work with routers?
im thinking in the rare cases it does your local ip for your router must have a 1 at the end like 127.0.0.1
for it to work. Does anyon ehave any ideas? I havent gotten this to work yet without getting the "disconnected from server" error when I try to join bartz in the server list.
Yes it works great with routers, if you followed the guide exactly (right IP's) and forward ports 2106 and 7777 it works great
Is this guide 100% correct?
Because Ive tried it exactly how it says and its not working.
My internal ip is 192.168.1.2 and I havent gotten this to work.
The guide says to put world server=the last number/s of your internal ip well it only says to change one of the world id's is that true?
I change 1 of the world id's to =2 and all the others leave at 1?
Thanks.
Yes this guide is 100% correct, I have used it and so have several of my friends with no problems...
Some behind routers, some not...
are you referring to changing the variables? you just need to change world id once in your INI to 2...then it will know for the rest of the code its a 2
my IIS broke now this is irritating so I cant test my server since I cant make an account. How bad can this get? Finally when I think I might have it right IIS breaks.
i made my final attempt. I used this guide exactly. I still receive the "disconnected from server" when I try to enter Bartz. I have never experienced anything more annoying than this. Im dont with this. Too irritating.
Has anyone who's l2server quits unexpectely with memory errors figured out how to resolve it? I followed the guide exactly, used the /3GB, & even gave my system 8 gig of vmem an it still does it with 15mins after the npc server finishes loading everything. An wat i dont understand is how it does with with no errors prior to crashing. Can anyone help me out with this one? Have I missed something really obvious in the setup?
Nope your setup is 100% correct sounds like...
The best way to stop this from my experience is let NO ONE connect while NPC server is not COMPLETELY loaded...(Put up firewall for example) Also this is probably cause you have 512mb of Ram which isnt near enough to run the server properly, more ram will help you out also...
Good Luck :)
hmm I have noticed that guides for other server files mention this when dealing with routers? why doesnt lineage 2 guides include something dealing with this for people with routers:
http://www.wown.com/articles_tutoria...indows-XP.html
My guide IS FOR PEOPLE WITH ROUTERS...
You notice I mention LAN IP/WAN IP, that assumes you have a router, its not that hard to understand
