Now you should delete EVERYTHING, and start from scratch, follow the guide again (A lot easier cause you know exactly what to do) and enter the correct lan/wan IP's, disable all firewalls and use the numbers after the last dot in your wan IP (like if your lan ip is 192.168.1.2 you would use 2, if it was 192.168.1.193 you would enter 193) for your world ID in l2server.ini, all the other numbers just use what the guide says
well it works...more or less...I get some errors:
Auth-server:
loading Serverlist fail, serverid is not serialized
cached-server:
PAC failed: c0000bb8
what about the worldid in l2cache.ini in cached folder and worldid in l2logd.ini in l2logd folder? shouldn
When L2logD.exe prompt File DB, login name and password... Where is information recorded?Quote:
<<Running the Server>>
Open the files in the following order.
L2LogD.exe
File DB = lin2log
login name = your SQL account
password = your SQL password
CacheD.exe
File DB = lin2world
login name = your SQL account
password = your SQL password
Sorry for my english :p
Because L2log call "master" db in Mssql ! I want change to Lin2log db
thx
Nevermind got my problem working just had to reinstall IIS hehe
Just shut down your sql server and start L2LogD again. Because it cant connect to the SQL server, it will ask you for server, db, user and pass again.Quote:

nVidiaFreak I too have this problem. After start LNPC exe i have this --> http://kaizwer.narod.ru/03.jpg error
And after any time this--> http://kaizwer.narod.ru/01.jpg error.
What is it, and how to fix it?
I think maybe it's nps.exe have oldest version???
Maybe someone have a newest version?
doemondo. Can you plz shared to download your folder L2NPC?? I try it, And after it still no work, i shot my head =))
Nice work... I think this should be sticky. :D
hi.. i have followed every steps in the instruction but when I try to run L2Server.exe, i get a Microsoft Visual c++ Runtime Library error. I tried changing the "IOBufferCount" in l2server.ini so many times but it's always the same error. I set up the database using Microsoft SQL server enterprise but i am having no database errors. My specs are 2.4ghz with 512mb ram
I suggest to start off with a clean install of an Operating System like windows 2000 Advanced Server or something else, patch it with the latest security updates, then install MSSQL 2000. Then do the L2 changes etc... things should work properly.
I followed this guide to 100% but I still cannot connect to the index.asp. There must be something else you have to do that's not in this guide.
I apololigize, but i've got a question. I may be stupid, so please don't flame me.
>Is it possible with 10Mb connection,1Go DDRam and 2GHz to setup a Off server, receive player (50-150) and play (on the same machine of course...)
Thx.
Tibalt.
The guide is 100% perfect.. my server ran at once from this guide so i suggest to look at all your settings again, im sure you did something wrong or forgot a setting ;)Quote:
