l2.ini question

    l2.ini question

    hi i have the server setted up and runiong using karnage files. but what i cant seem to do, is:
    i can't edit the l2.ini i have found some decoders but noone works, can someone get me a link for a decoder that decrypts and encrptys the l2.ini and that wont give an error while i try to run it

    u need download a system patched, and next search in the forum

    if u are using c4 client u cant just open l2.ini u must decrypt it first using l2encdec
    u can download it from:http://www.yourfilelink.com/get.php?fid=99442

    if u are using c3 or older client u can just open l2.ini and change this line
    ServerAddr=YOUR_IP_HERE

    how to use l2encdec? create a folder for example tmp.
    Extract l2endec files in the "tmp" folder and run patcher a backup folder will apear.
    now copy the l2.ini from lineage II/system to tmp.
    open cmd
    and go to the tmp folder with the command cd.
    for example
    cd tmp.
    when u are in the tmp should looks like this C:\tmp> .
    now type l2encdec -s l2.ini and press enter
    in tmp folder a dec-l2.ini will aprear open it and change ServerAddr=your ip here!
    save and exit
    go to cmd again
    in the same "tmp" dirrectory and type: l2encdec -h 413 dec-l2.ini
    an enc-dec-l2.ini will aprear
    rename it to l2.ini and copy/paste it in system folder
    poof! l2.ini ip is changed have fun!

    If you are using l2encdec, you need to use the option for decrypting legacy files when trying to decrypt an unpatched l2.ini.

    Yahoo finally i create it i use older tmp version and write: l2encdec -h 413 dec-l2.ini

    i have an error when i try to run lineage with patched l2.exe and encrypted l2.ini


    OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)

    If you use l2encdec.exe,you need to patcher -f firstly,then edit the system folder.
