Karnage can you give us a solution to this problem please?I also got the same problem with the l2server.exe that it returns the "clone patch failed" error and another dialog box that asks me to either debug or close the application.However if it rename the qatch into patch then it still displays this error but the server is loading up normally.I didnt have the time to use a client though.Thanks in advance.

Clone patch failed is ok. Don't worry about it. There is, howevere, 2 patch.dll. The zzcat c4 one, and Tontor's (the one you use to block exploits). To use tontor's patch on C4, you need to do some hexing on the patch.exe that adds tontor's patch to the l2server.exe to change the dll name. If you need help with it, let me know. :)

You mean that "qatch.dll" is the zzcat's one and "Patch.dll" is Tontor's one?
If I want to use Patch.dll I need to edit something on it?

I am using Tontor's patch and having problem. Can you please help me this issue?

Very Important

I was using my windows, with normal user's name, when I opened the l2serverc4.exe appeared a mistake 272 soon after I executed.

Then, I opened my windows using user's name as Administrator.......... Yes... this problem was solved.

Use Administrator... don't use other user name in the windows oks.

My server crashing after "Loading Petdata.txt" with your C4 L2Server.exe, but on my C3 L2Server.exe it's work perfectly.

And why I can't update the Tontor's Patch.dll? It appear an error.
I replace qatch.dll (69 632 bytes) by Tontor's Patch.dll (77 824 bytes) (as qatch.dll)... Where is my mistake?
Help, please.

damn i got a problem here
linErr.txt doesnt show nothing
the error is:

after this i got visual studio error...

Im using windows xp professional with sp2 full updated. my boot.ini is right.
