This only the case if you want to buy it and just use them.
As a developer I really loved their files and I feel sorry because their season 8 comercial files were cracked and released here. Their project is based on 1.01.00 GS wich is pretty good and this allowed them to offer a really stable GS.
The source actually allow you to learn more about MU and make your own patches. If you don't want that, you can hire someone to do it for you and this might be cheaper.
You just seem a windows user that just bought Windows XP.
