Configure Zen drops (GS 1.00.18)

Hello everyone.

I am trying to configure the Zen drops to my needs. As far as I am aware the Zen drop is calculated based on the exp received from the mobs. I read somewhere that this can be configured by including ZenRate (or AddZen) in CommonServer.cfg, but unfortunately it does not seem to be working for me.

The only valid option that I can see is to replace GS 1.00.18 with 1.00.90 for which this change to CommonServer.cfg apparently works. I would however appreciate it if someone could share an alternative.

Can I edit the formulae somewhere or configure the Zen drop rates in some other way without the need for GS 1.00.90?

well first which server files are u using along ur gs 1.00.18 ?
u can always learn to add an extra config .dll or .txt in GS folder or configs folder, if u know atleast how to program abit.

With all honesty KarLi, I am very new to setting up MU online stuff and have yet much to learn in terms of how things work.

Now: I am currently using the Season 2 files, which you supplied with the link to in this thread http://forum.ragezone.com/f196/setup...on-1-a-607638/

If you know a good starting point to learn more about adding extra config files then I would appreciate if you could share it. I simply do not know where to begin at this stage. I am capable of programming bits and pieces, I worked as a programmer for a few months so no doubt I could do that :-)
