    [Help] Compiled IGCN S9 E2 (Repack) connection problems

    I know its a stupid question but im realy tired after trying to configure it the way i want to , and i forgot how the client connects to the server thru wan ip,
    Can someone tell me where do i have to add my wan ip in the server files for the client to connect to the server ?
    Edit 1: Side note i have port forwarded every single port i found in the server files, theres over 20 and still no luck in connecting over wan ip.

    edit 2: Eliminated the router, plugged the cable directly in my pc... i don't know what the actual dumb fuck is blocking the connection, i don't even have a antivirus, even disabled the damn windows antivirus and firewall.
    Thank you so much

    You have all the info in first page...

    Spoiler:

    I have included a section dedicated to teaching you how to set up the files. But if you still don't understand no worries I'm here to fix that problem.

    1: Create/Restore Databases
    Spoiler:

    Once you click Proceed wait for an notfication to pop up telling you that your
    Databases have been successfully created/restored [Takes Around 10 Seconds]

    If the Automatic Script did not work for you. You must do it Manual. The SQL scripts are located In the following destination.

    SMFeaturesSQLScriptsActualScripts

    2: Modifying IP & SQL
    Spoiler:

    Once this Editor opens first thing you need to get is your IPV4 Address

    Go To Support Section>Where Do I Find My IPV4 Address You?> and that will take you to your IPV4

    You may have to scroll up to find it.

    Once you have that Load MapServerInfo and put in the first text box at the bottom

    PUT YOUR IP HERE and then Put In Second Text Bot Your IPV4 Address

    Now Repeat This Step For ServerList

    [NOTICE]
    IP Locations must now be modified in DataServer.ini Files as well.

    3: Modifying Client Side
    Spoiler:

    Open The Tools section and run IGCNServerInfoEditor
    Open ServerInfo.bmd Change The IP and save the file to the location below.
    DataLocalServerInfo.bmd (On Client Side)

    4: Creating Your First Account
    Spoiler:

    Open The Tools Section once again and run IGC.Essential Tools.
    Look for the Icon in system try and right click the icon and click accounts.
    type in a user and pass & click create.

    5: Booting Up The Server
    Spoiler:

    Click on Start Server then pick which server startup you like.

    6: Port forward
    Spoiler:

    Guide will be displayed in the server manager xD

    SQL Errors Or Name Pipes Error

    Open
    -> SQL Server Configuration Manager
    -> SQL Server Network Configuration
    -> Protocol for MSSQLSERVER
    -> TCP/IP -> Enabled.
    -> Name Pipes -> Enabled
    go to Properties Tab of TCP/IP :

    Re: [Help] Compiled IGCN S9 E2 (Repack) connection problems

    The server works great when i set it up with local ipv4 ip , it works no problems there, but in turn after i put the global ip's instead of the IPv4 it doesnt work i can't figure it why. as i stated , i even plugged in the ethernet cable directly into my pc eliminating the router, and i was asking if i have to use the wan ip in all the files stated in the video/guide etc,if not where?

    Update; Manage to run it over RADMIN , guess something is fked up if i can run it over radmin and not Wan ip

    Re: [Help] Compiled IGCN S9 E2 (Repack) connection problems

    Make sure also you don't have 2 LANs in your network because the portfowarding should be done on every router you are connecting through.

    The schema would be like this:

    Internet ----> Router 1 on LAN 1 (192.168.1.*) ---------> Router 2 on LAN 2 (192.168.100.*) ----------> Your MU Server machine (192.168.100.50)

    In this case the portfowarding would be like this:
    - In Router 1 -> Portfoward MU ports on 192.168.100.1
    - In Router 2 -> Portfoward MU port on 192.168.100.50

    This way, you are opening ports from LAN 2 to Internet.
    Note *: It applies on how many networks you are connecting through.
