    [Help] Configuring BoK+5 (eventitembag12) properly.

    Hello all.

    I am basically trying to configure BoK+5 such that it gives a 20% chance of dropping an EXC item and for the remaining 80% of the chance it'll drop a Non-EXC +7 to +11 item of the same tier.

    It appears to be fine when I configure it to either drop EXC item (20%) or a Non-EXC+11 (80%). It works fine if I do not add more than one level (so only+11 for instance) to the pool of possible drops.

    However, being a madman that I am I added all the possible drop combinations (i.e. from +7 to +11) manually into eventitembag12.txt and while it appears to be working fine, after dropping about 15 BoK+5s the GS simply stops responding. My assumption there is that it is attempting to "produce" an item that is "broken" in my file.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Try to add "end" at the end of combinations ex:

    if this don`t work try add step by step every group checking it if the drop is ok and you will find where is the problem

    Unfortunately it didn't quite work. Again: It dropped a couple of mixed +7 to +11 items and then the GS stopped working =/

    Should I be including somewhere at the start of the file as well? I mean: I only included "end" after the chucks of mixed options as you suggested.

    I think is not needed in this files, i just checked the original files..... check the log from gs.

    Maybe @KarLi can help you, he know better this files.

    Well I checked the GS logs, but nothing useful really seems to be in there as far as I'm aware =/
    My current option is to keep my items at +7, but I would really like to make them +7 to +11.

    first of all , what files u using?
    secondly, the crash = mostly because of a wrong item code.. so some item number code is not existing or something so the game has to crash while trying to drop the box.


    also like the other guy said add at the end of the code 'end'
    u can try to add 'end' on the last line of the item codes and recheck.

    and also check logs not from GS only, but also ExDB for example

    I'm using the S2 files you provided in your long S1/S2 guide thread.

    The item codes: I really don't see what could possibly be wrong with me item codes for this. I tried using the codes that are attached in my eventitembag12.txt.

    I also tried using 'end', but it didn't seem to change anything.

    I see no logs being produced in the ExDB folder =/

    all you can do is, remove 1 by 1 code and test untill it doesnt CRASH then u can identify what item is the issue.
    if i was you i'd test by deleting 5/10 codes and restart gs and testing untill i find the issue.
