and i think ur bug is your GAMESERVER not exdb...
If you have protection methods, please advise me.
I use the version of gameserver.exe (0.99.88T) FNR
give me your exdb or..
open your exdb with OllyDBG
find these lines.. search for these 'referenced' texts UPDATE etc and then change it the way i wrote below.

Then save your exdb as executable and re-test

show me what you got in badsyntax.txt?
and make 1 test..
1. delete badsyntaxt.txt
2. run gameserver
if you get error.. then we can make this work hopefully by adding more lines.
if no error then badsyntaxt.txt is not working from the gameserver.

Edit: I already send you ExDB(In Private Message) equal to 0.4.0.13 of WebZen one. It is tested on live servers Season 2 - 3 and working fine. It has Fixed : Guild Inject / Friend Inject / Guild Crash / Friend Crash. If you require Source code you might write me PM or any other help I'm willing to help you :)
P.p: @KarLi bug is GameServer but can be fixed in ExDB too.
I already send him Emulator for ExDB for him to test.
I'm willing to believe that version of ExDB will fit perfectly to him.
But even if not I'm willing to offer him help for free.
If he provide me files + db (the original ones) I might re-work ExDB if doesnt fit his needs to be good for him.

From my testing on windows Server 2003 SP1
eExDB.exe is unable to work.
1. ws2_32.dll error
2. api-ms-win-core-crt-l1-1-0.dll error
3. api-ms-win-core-crt-l2-1-0.dll error
4. The procedure entry point EtwEventEnabled could not be located in the dynamic link library ntdll.dll.
Maybe that is the problem, that you still use window server 2003 and SQL 2000.
why dont you upgrade to: Windows Server 2008 R2
and use SQL 2008 R2, cuz i use old EXDB in my server but use new sql server and windows 2008 and no injections.
I tried using Windows Server 2008.
And I encountered a problem with the game server
I can use Window Server 2003 SP1 only.
