I am trying to open the DataServer, but it stops responding and never continues.
I have not added the ports until now. Can it occur because of ports?
Can anyone tell me what ports I need to open on my router?
Sorry for newbie questions. It's been a long time away from Muservers.

You might have not setup the ODBC properly?

I deleted and uninstalled everything and i'm trying to start again.
I was trying to restore database MuOnline.sql. But i got that message below:





After searching on google for error 3241 on sql i noticed that might be some lack of cumulative update package.
I downloaded the Sql server 2008 r2 service pack3 but got another error when tried to install.


After searching again for one reason I noticed that might be a OS language error.
My OS is windows 10 portugues-brazil and my SQL is english.
The old error in dataserver was using sql 2012 and thats why i'm trying to work with SQL Severs 2008 R2 Developer Edition now.
I can create database MuOnline but can not restore MuOnline.sql. I used a query to add everything that was on MuOnline.sql but i think that way doesnt work properly.
Before uninstalled everything i have tried to setup ODBC but i think that i can't do this because of the restore database error.
So my dataserver error probably is ODBC but i need to restore database properly to setup odbc.
I think i will uninstall everything and try again.

OBDC not needed in these version of server.
You need just good config .

Just use SQL 2012 Express Edition with Tools
Then setup ODBC ( Window key then type ODBC > System DSN )
You prob need to do both for 32 bit and 64 bit just incase

After manual configure, ODBC Worked.
But I think I will work with another version.Thanks
