    sad [Help] IGCN Season 9 Skill Damage problem

    Hello Ragezoners! i have question, how to/where to change basic skill damage in server files ? i don`t change any of value, but skill damage for the RF-AOE damage 9100% DL,DK-4200% on stats 40k

    I tryed to find something in the scripts lua attached to the server, but no result. I would be very thankfull, if someone helps me resolve it.

    it looks like the damage is impacted by a coefficient
    Itried to add 10000 and damage are better

    few things first.

    Have you increased the SPECIALIZATION cap? at the moment(basic setting) it is 1500-3000(increase it to like 1-35k) this will make all damage stronger.

    In terms of balancing, well me and my team had to rewrite formulas and spend like 45hrs of tests, so good luck with that. I can only say that formulas and all damage is for 0 res.

    Balancing is quite a task, I doubt anyone would share this, also to add to it, you need to adjust to your own server needs.

    for example

    1500 is so hight, I replaced my file with an other from other mu server and now its okay

    In the new file

    StatSpec.lua, which located in script files. Like Newmuplanet says, make there values higher. Anyway, its hard to balance chars.
    its strange, that, for example compare SM to BK, there are same values and formulas, but BK is over powered.
    i`m first time dealing with configuration scripts, maybe im doing something wrong, but i tested in duel SM with BK, and i just rise SM values, something like that:

    function StatSpec_MagicPowerInc_Wizard(Energy)
    local Percent = 0

    if (Energy > 1 and Energy < 10000) then
    Percent = Energy / 150
    elseif (Energy >= 10000 and Energy < 20000) then
    Percent = 10 + (Energy - 1500) / 25
    elseif (Energy >= 20000 and Energy < 33000) then
    Percent = 30 + (Energy - 2000) / 66
    end

    now the damage dealed per amount of time is +- equal.

    There are other question, how to rise def. Yes, the damage is +- same, but duel finishes whery quickly, who first start to dealing damage, that wins. The problem is that, in the StatSpec file, ther is not for all chars the defence config, for example BK have "StatSpec_DefenseInc_Knight(Agility)" but SM havent. i dont know, may be rise soul barrier def and rise bk swell of life. its brain killing :D
