The castle must have an owner. You can't enter in LoT without having a castle owner or a guild winning the Castle Siege event. That's how it is developed.
sure, since after the event ends the settinggs that are applied are more correct than doing it manually, but mostly this shouldnt been an issue, its just something with the files.
