If anybody can help me please. i've spent countless hours on this mu private server..

first important advice:
whenever u get any issues search for logs..
u cant login = DC = check gameserver.exe
2. try switching MuMaker from MD5 ON to MD5 OFF and re-try to make account.
other than that i can see only port 55901 not working correctly or other issues (gameserver.exe)

so download a new gameserver.exe?

new gameserver will not help, just like i showed you in teamviewer, be sure u put the correct IP's in files/client side and open all ports correctly

If your using a public ip.
- Make sure all ip/sql information is edited correctly.
- Make sure all ports is open.
- Try turning off your firewall (Not Recommended).
Usually when you try to login and then you get d/c its either between gameserver or connectserver or gameserver cs.
Now if it still doesn't work try using ipv4 ip.
Open CMD> ipconfig> Look for ipv4 address.
replace it with all your public ip addresses server/client and if it works then you know the issue means your public ip ports are not port forwarded correctly. That is how me and KarLi used to fix d/c issues with clients a while back.
