    sql server on azure

    Hello folks...

    has anyone tried or have a tutorial to use azure sql server or the like application to host your sql server???

    does it work though?? can you connect from it normally using your mu online servers??

    does it give you more spaces???

    is it faster?

    i dont know, i dont think ppl want to waste time on that, but someone has to try like you and let us know =D

    i might lol, this is just an idea but its like if we can host our database for free and it has more spaces than the usual sql express, then we can save a lot of resources in our servers..

    i just dont know anything about the connection stuffs like obdc and the like if they can't work normally, i have no fundamental knowledge just try and test.. not much ppl talks about optimizing mu databases..

    If you want to host your whole server on azure, sure, you can use it. Otherwise, hosting just the sql server on azure, it makes no sense, because you'll have too high latencies and high costs.
    Anyway, as the classical mu server is not made for cloud infrastructure, you're better off with a dedicated server.
