I'm assuming you've not edited any other files then? :-)
It isn't enough to edit just the main and wz_connect.dll, you have to edit a few server files too as far as I'm aware.
Have a look around in your server files for anything that needs editing. CommonServer.cfg would be a good start.
Let me know how far you get,

I bet it has something to do with the way your database is set so that's where I'd look, but I simply do not know what's wrong with it without playing about with it =(

Like I said: I don't know how to fix this. :-)
If I were trying to help you via Skype it would take an hour or two of me asking you to click this and that and tell me what you see so I can try and understand where the problem is coming from and neither of us would enjoy that ;-)
If I were you I would just snoop around on the internet to try and figure this one out, at least that's what I would do to determine what fix needs to be applied to this.
Alternatively just wait and see if someone else knows how to go on about fixing this.
Still same problem "chracter data setting failed"....
create the account with bare hands in the database or use some kind of website for it. dont use mumaker os another stuff, it can cause problem.
I USE MuAccount Create........
how to that via sql ?
Use website.. install mucore / webengine / anything else... stop using random account creators.
