you can take the bmd files to a different folder open them with pentium tools and check the error message in pentium's main window, it will display the ozj name

maybe he knows the names from some list he got xD
but yea thats what i recommend too i did it alot of times when i tried to replace objects.

so,i have downloaded the old client 97d "from losena server"
checked the bmd,ozt,ozj files
for aa sword "Sword20.bmd,sword44_R.ozj,sword442.ozj"
but after replacing "data/item,and data/item/texture"
it still the same "white sword" but it must be red )))

u can even find the sword from other clients and just use these specific textures u want

i tryed 5 old 97d and lower clients,and same shi.... ))))

try newer then, and u said u replaced texture and still white? maybe ur doing it wrong.
