///How to add Monsters and Spawns /////
//////////////////////////////////////////////
There are two ways to do that.
1) Using Sky Team Monster edit. Thats for ppl who want it fast and easy.
Please note that u cant "replace" the monstersetbase u created with MonsterEdit
with ur old one, that will cause it to delete ALL MOBS which u didnt create urself
by using MonsterEdit.
Simply open the created one in the MonsterEdit file and
copy the lines IN the other monstersetbase.
2) Learning how to make them your own.
Thats a lil more difficoult.
Ill simply give 2 examples and explain them, that will be most easy i think.
Example 1: Point Spot
0 0 5 123 135 -1 // Bull Fighter
//////////////////////////////////
////Understanding the code ///
//////////////////////////////////
the first number is the monster Number. 0 means its a Bull Fighter.
the second Number is the Map number, 0 is lorencia. There is a full list in the GM
commands, get them there.
the third Number is how far the monster moves away from its spawn.
5 is quite low, that means the monster will stay near the area it spawned.
the 4th number is the X- Coordinate, the 5th number the Y- Coordinate.
Just like in maths... u can get them ingame, they are near your Health Ball. (X Y as well)
The last coords is the monster movement. -1 means its moving randomly like a monster.
0 would be steady, 1 would be like a Guard.
Thats how to add one single mob, now lets look at more mobs at once.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////
/// Multiple Monster Spawns (Ranged Spots) ////
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Example 2: Ranged Spot
23 2 0 224 121 225 122 -1 20 //Hommerds near Davias Town
//////////////////////////////////
////Understanding the code ///
//////////////////////////////////
Pretty much like the 1st one:
23= the mob number
2= the map number
0= the movement number
now to the hard part. u see 2 coords of each, X and Y now.
it works like this X1 Y1 X2 Y2. Those form a "cage", in this "cage" the monsters spawn.
U can use the same coords for either X1 and X2 and Y1 and Y2 though that might
throw up problems, at me it did.
I suggest u do it just like in the example i gave, meaning u use coords right near to
each other.
the -1 is the movement of the monster again
Now the most intresting number, the 20.
That is the number of mobs u actually spawn in the coords. make sure u dont overdo it,
that will cause the XP calculation to crash...
A little example on that: i was hosting a 30x XP server with 50 mobs/ spawn and 3 spawns
ppl could reset in about 20 mins....
////////////////////////
//// Adding NPCs /////
////////////////////////
Just like the 1st one, just 1 more thing to know.
Example 3:
235 0 0 121 127 5 // Priest Sevina at Lor Bar
235= Mob Number
0= Map Number
0= Movement Number
121= X Coord
127= Y Coord
5 Is the direction the NPC looks at, it works like this:
1 = Downwards to the left
2 = Straight downwards
3 = Downwards to the right
4 = Straight right
5 = Upwards to the right
6 = Straight upwards
7 = Upwards to the left
Its an anti clockwise movement from 0 to 7
Thats mostly it, i hope u know how to add mobs now :)
