Create 97D+99I Server Full Guide for New People - 100% Works

This guide is only for online server. But you can make it play with only your 2-3 friends [ u can do that using the ip from hamachi - creating a network that the password will be known only to ur friends, or you can make ur server vip style ]

as for the client, you can use any 97d+99i client with main version 0.97.4.0

as for your question for lan server, you can replace all the ips with ur lan ip (or just 127.0.0.1) and that's it. you have ur offline server.

You don't really specify what the error is but i think i know what it is. When you right click>properties on link 4, first press "Find Target" and then replace ur ip and apply. Do the same for 8.

ok link 8 is solved eveyting from 1 to 8 is ready but when i connect to server it says its offline..

and when running link 8 it says loginserver connect failed ;[

1) (as for the invisible set)
The maximum option of any set in 97d+99i is +11. Did you add more than +11 from mu editor? [For example +13] - then the item appears invisible. Change it to +11 and it will be normal.

2) (as for the server name)

In order to change the server name, open bmd editor and load the file text.bmd which is located in client folder/data/local/

Then search for the current server name and change it to anything you want.

3) (as for the moves,duels,wars)

I need some more information to help you.

This error means that the client u are using has a different version than the server files or you changed the main.exe in the 97d+99i client folder with another main. Try to use a different 97d+99i client

-for +10set
I think the armor was just +10 but it was already invisible, but then again, using 2 computers, if i logged my account in pc1, when i look at the items +10 it was invisible but when I logged in another account in pc2 and meet the characters in an area, the character in pc2 can see the set of the character in pc1.

-for the BMD editor

fallen166, of course you can use sql 2005 in stead of 2000

D\muserver\links\4 - here right click on file 4 and select properties. there you will find the ip. Replace it with yours and press ok (if you can't press ok and you get an error just check the path of the file.)

you need to change the path is it is needed. For example if you replace the ip with ur ip and you can't apply, that means the path is wrong and you need to change it [the path in Target and Start In fields]

As for a lan server, you need to replace all the ips with your local ip [192.168.x.xxx or just with 127.0.0.1] and you are ready.
