what are the codes to attach to the index file, so that the footer appears, because on my test, the footer doesn't seem to change. no matter how i set it, a single footer in German language constantly appears even if the language is set to English, and the footer is changed.

I have put <?PHP echo $ctxtra_footer; ?> into my index.php but i cant see footer on my web ! I need help
