Making DB for MSSQL 2000.:
If you installed SQL 2000 then go to Start Menu>Microsoft SQL Server>Enterprise Manager. (If u run Vista or later os, u should run in administrative rights.)
Browse down to DataBases folder.
In DataBases right klick. Create New DataBase.

Create New Databases named: MuOnline, MU_2003_EVENT_DATA, Ranking.

Now you have 3 db-s called: MuOnline, MU_2003_EVENT_DATA, Ranking.
You must restorre these dbs, cause these contains no data only their names.
You must take the following steps in all 3 databases.
Right klick on MuOnline database. All Task> Restore DataBase.

Select restore method: "From Device". Klick "Select device".

Select "File name". Browse your dbbackup in your muserver folder.

Now you finished the restoring procsess.
Again right klick on database.> All task >Restore Database.
Select Options Tab. Select "Force restore over existing database".

If you have 64bit os then run ODBC (64bit).reg
If you have 32bit os then run ODBC.reg
All done.
Setup guide for single computer.
Its important for you to know, what is your local ip.
whatsmyip.com is good but some users like me too have dsl connection so that ip for us is useless.
On xp:
Start menu >Execute >type in "cmd". Whitout qwotes.
On Vista,Win7:
Start menu >Type "cmd" in the search bar. Whitout qwotes.
Alternative:
You can find cmd.exe under C:\Windows\System32\
A black screen appears. type in ipconfig. hit enter

What you need is the ipv4 adress under ethernet card speifications.
Other method xp.:
Start menu > Connection> Show all connections > right klick on local area network icon. >select properites. > select advanced tab.
Other method Vista,Win7.:
Start menu> Control Panel> Network Sharing Center> klick on Local Area Netwok> hit advanced.

Changing the ip in main.
You need an editor like : Hex editor Neo.
If you downloaded the ENC client you got two mains.
main.exe and main(mu.exe).exe
Open your main(mu.exe).exe whit it.
Go to Edit tab> Find

Type in "YOUR". Hit find button.

Write over "YOUR_IP" whit your ipv4 adress like on the picture.

Dont forget. Run that main what you have edited before.
The other doesnt contain your ip.

Aditional Info:
I run these files under Win7 64bit whit SQL 2000.
I use the atached ENC client.
I have installed the atached fixes to.
(windows-1251__item drop fix, and 1.07V client fix)
Whit these I was able to port between maps whitout getting DCd.
If you find similarities in this and other guides its just because setting
up a muserver is allways the same. Only some files and/or folders change
time over time not the method.

The only reason of why I didnt include the database setup is because you can find a guide for that at RaGEZONE on like every thread of server creation. Editing client, you just have to edit main.exe in order to play, but if you would like to edit in-game details such as map list for M, your server name in-game you will have to use a BMD editor to edit the .bmd files.Quote:

Can you make a screenshot of your servers when you run the client?
Maybe your client didnt communicate whit your server.

As your picture says it didnt communicate.
Please recheck your IP settings in the serverfiles.

I have dsl connection. My global IP changes automatically when I connect to the net. If you have dsl connection too then the problem is that.
btw you need to know your modems/routers type id and pass because whitout that you are not be able to forward the ports.

You need to run sql queries to fix the ragefighter.
