Fix "Connect MxExDB Error! Please confirm MxExDB launched"

Ok. This Guide is for MuServerMx_ZD_MU_Server1.0z

Read my Guide as follows:
1. Go to your Muserver
2. Find the folder which is CustomDB
3. Open the folder CustomDB
4. Then open the conig files (which is configuration settings)
5. You will see this

[DataSource]
Server=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
UserId=sa
Password=xudaxiasd

6.See thisServer=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx change this into your local IP address which is local IP address of your server. (Note: not the IP address which is connected to the world) It work fine for me. (e.i. 192.168.... or whatever local IP you had)..

P.S.
If you want to know your local IP
Just go to startmenu click run and type command
in windows open type [B]ipconfig[B]
This is only for Microsoft Windows

This is tested under Router/Firewall which I have, and if you are not having this then, you can use the IP which is connected to the world (i mean the IP of your provider give you) which is the error is always there because the IP that you use is need a confirmation of your computer in order to run this. (because the IP is not local). Note: P.S. That is not an error but only confirmation...

i changed ExDB to MxExDB and ok, don't have this problem later.

me too!!!! it works fine until that... and if i push the ok buton on that sql server error, i can login to my server but it says that i don't have a valid account, nomatter what account i enter.

even if you change that line to lan/wan/127.0.0.1 ip it still doesn't work for me, all other stuff works perfectly (of course i launch that customdb.exe first...) but i really don't get what the problem is.... any other guideline?

I had 2 common problems with ExDB and I changed all IP's to 192.168.0.1 except of the connect server in settings (to my dns domain) and afer that used SkyTeam Server Launcher with IP setted to my dns and it works perfectly. No errors of ExDB no problems with connecting to server

I running 1.01E server i have the same error i did all the solution i can find but no success. Although theres an error i can still connect to the server and play. does this error has an effect on the game? thanks.

You must change the ip in gameserver/mx_config.ini to the SAME IP you use in Customdb/config.ini !!

What is the Password? How do I know the password for "sa"? Is it the password that we entered when setup SQL (2005)? If so, I have put it CustomDB already, but it still has that problems! MxExDB.......!

view password SQL Server Default "sa"
change the ip in gameserver/mx_config.ini to the SAME IP you use in Customdb/config.ini
