normal !message also invisible for another ppl. only you can see this. (packet with this message will be deleted by gamserver and replaced to global speak packet)/!Message
Same but does not show text above the GM's head - useful to stay anonymous ;)
0.o nice.it may be used to spawn monsters
I dont understand the /make could you make a example =)Originally Posted by alexteam
erm... okay since I don't have a server here to test and since you're one of the (few) people who actually know what they're talking about, I'll remove it on your advice :icon6: lolOriginally Posted by alexteam
EDIT: Could it be visible to only other GMs? Normal !Message, I mean... just that most of my testing has been on LAN with a few ppl locally as GM.. :eh:
you gotta read the bit just before that: "Make command is not properly understood" :prop:0.o nice.

DaRcAntiX only u can see the mesage apearing above ur head.

i read this :)you gotta read the bit just before that: "Make command is not properly understood"
i think make its for making items only. but i dont know about monster spawn =|
>_> when will you guys understand? The /make command is NOT for creating items, it's for spawning mobs. The only reason that it isn't working is because you are using the incorrect syntax.
/Make Spider:0,100,100 should spawn a spider in lorencia at 100 100 depending on what version of Mu you have. The developers made this command to test the items drops from the mobs, instead of having to add lines to MonsterSetBase.txt
no no:
its not: /Make Spider:0,100,100 unless we have to modify GS.
I have translated all commands of MESSAGE, like /trace, /make, and I have translated my client to to show not chinese letters, example:
you forgot to inlcue the /monitoring command. its used to view the damage that players do (for detecting hacks, etc...)
type this
/monitoring charactername
its all in crazy ascii chinese text but if the last letter is something like "U" then it means that monitoring is enabled on that character, if it says "I" or something at end it means you disabled it. also, you must be close enough to the character to see them fighting monsters, the damage will be displayed as they hit each monster just like if you were fighting...etc
also /filter word
im not quite sure how to work this one but theres something you can do with it...
Is this a 0.97/d command?Originally Posted by qball546

If it's a modded fake-0.99-server command then I'm not going to bother including it since I only like supporting stable releases.
sh*t, I did forget that lol (probably cause I never use it)..also /filter word
Anyone have info on filter - whether it shows text including the filtered word, or excludes it; and if it shows only filtered text from within your screen, or if you can use it to see any text within a certain area containing that word... I know it can be given multiple parameters, like /filter word1, word2 but I can't find the file that I hjad mentionig it... once I get some proper information regarding filter, it will be added.
Diss, perhaps it is just misinformation, but ages back when I was new to private servers, a freind of mine was made GM and after trying random characters for freaking ages, he apparently came up with the codes for making chaoses, and could type the command, then update his inventory (trade someone then close it, or go to vault then exit) and he would have a chaos sitting there...
He said he was using the numbers 12 and 15 (location of chaos in 0.97 item file) - if you have reliable info on the mak command can you please post it here, with sources? I specifically disclaimed the validity of the /make command info in this file. ;)
When you explain how you know this. :smilie3: Is it in the WTF file? If you know the correct syntax, surely you canm use the command yourself? Just find out the ALT codes of a few korean numeric characters and you're all set :icon6: [/QUOTE]Originally Posted by DissObey
/monitoring works with 97b. haven't try at 97d.
k kewl, I was under the impression it was a modded-into-0.99-server addition.. I'll add it after I've confirmed the syntax of the output (and usage), same as /filter ;) (probably get a chance to test tomorrow)Originally Posted by zolaks
ta for the extra info ;)
DaRcAntiX my friend, could you explain this?
/RemainTime AccountName Minutes
Changes the Charge Info in the database for that account. Only useful on P2P servers.
Thx in advance.

Sure mate. In the database, you have entries for 'subscription' dates/times, which are automatically set to a few years ahead when you create your account (through most of the web-reg sites out there). Anyone who's seen the 'No Charge Info' error message will know what happens if that data isn't there :prop:Originally Posted by zikuta
If the date/time in that database table is reached, you will not be able to log in, it will say something about 'subscription time exceeded'. Just like the SetBlock command can be used to change the database ctlCode setting for a character, RemainTime can be used to modify the Charge Info. I haven't tested it fully, so I'm not 100% sure of the syntax or which table it affects, but it's not really any use for private servers - I can't think of any situations where you would want to only give your players a limited amount of playtime :eh:
Is that what you wanted to know? :)
