Look this man ! and cry ^^

Try this job...
Code:
UPDATE Character
SET Reset = Reset+1 WHERE cLevel=1000
UPDATE Character
SET cLevel= ('1') , Experience= ('0') , LevelUpPoint= 500*Reset , Strength= ('5') , Dexterity= ('5') , Vitality= ('5') , Energy= ('5')
WHERE cLevel=1000

He, take the resets (default = o ok ?)
Add more one... later he take the value again... (1) and 500*1 = 500 pounts = 1 reset ^^ it's good for ranking
Is a correction for you script ^^ ok ?
Good Luck

Using such resets,
my DB screwed very often, and ppl are back with
their lvls and staff.
(Dunno where's the problem exactly in such way of reset) :(

Sure, just use this:

Code:
UPDATE Character
SET clevel= ('1') , experience= ('0') , Reset = Reset+1
WHERE clevel>349

Its in fact a hellofalot shorter then his code :icon6:

But I advice not using automatic reset. 1th reason is that users can't maintain a level 350 character (wich is always cool to see on the stats page) and 2nd reason is that it uses quite an amount of CPU time, especially with that terribly long script posted here.

As a matter of coincidence, I just posted a webreset + reset reward script here :)

For the people who can't get there autoreset to work: make sure your SQL agent is running and that you've enabled the job to run every 1 minute from 00:00h till 23:59h without enddate.

OK when I add the job, the job isn't running. Even when i try to start it, it still doesn't run. Anybody know why?

riuger

If you do not want to stats become 'zero' again simply edit the sql job like this,

mati_jg i'm using your script in here hope you don't mind with it... (...i made some changes)

ok i got it this reset works fine 4 me
i explain:
1. create a new column in ur tables
2. Name it Reset >
3. Change the type of the column to masllint
4. default value 1

then make new job
UPDATE Character
SET clevel= ('1') , experience= ('0') , Money=Money-50000000 , LevelUpPoint= 300*Reset , Reset = Reset+1
WHERE clevel>349 and Money>50000000

(... no need to add the class option on sql statemente because like this it will reset all class accounts you have, and reduces resources need to check...)

Hope i helped you and all other that may need.
