How protect Server and Website 100%

First you need download (sygate Persional FireWall)

1. Protect Server 100% no hacked = You must block ( DataServer1 , DataServer2 , ExDB , Chatserver , RankingServer , EventServer , Joinserver ) . You must have allowed = ( Connect Server , GameServer , GameServer_CS_CW )

2 . Protect Website 100% = First must have Xampp ,
for cant Injeced one website you must block on your firewall ( SQL Server Windows NT ) and delete on your website ( Install file and administrator file and administrator.php ) and your Server and website is 100% protect

This is so false. Just because you block some dataservers and take away the administrator.php file doesn't meen you have a 100% secure enviourment. specially not when you use muweb since it's basically screaming for your server to be hacked.

php.ini (c:\windows)
Search for: safe_mode = off and make like this: safe_mode = on
Same with : safe_mode_gid = off turn ON
Restart website!

an unsecured webhost can be scanned and you can see all files and folders unprotected from the host,better is to delete it if you dont know how to secure them in php(anti-inject,xss...)
About the server why you said 100%?A muonline server can be hacked by resend the packets from server or to send packets to lvl up without killing monsters.Never said you can protect 100% an application that have a client side!
And about sygate...if you think a firewall cant be hacked your WRONG!A firewall can be tricked and sygate is not the most secured firewall,the best firewall is a hardware firewall,you know it as router.A good router who route only the needed port will protect sever side of your muonlineserver!
For website you also can use access files to restrict the access on administration pages and the folders outside of www like phpMyAdmin and others.Restrict the access by IP 127.0.0.1!

Not a bad guide but it does't cover everything like how to secure your php.cfg and other little things.

Also alot of new timers setting up a sever often will say " Omg my Character table is gone!!" and think someone hacked them when infact the muonline DB just out grew its pre-set size and that can often create loss of data for that table. Little things like this can cause big problems for people who dont understand security, hacking and just common maintence.

Not everyone are using Sygate Firewall...but i get you're point.
Is it possible to block them using Windows Firewall, have anyone try it ?

Any hacker that is worth a grain of salt can get through any firewall. Windows built in firewall is the least secure of any firewall and zygate is tolerable. When you think about hackers keep this in mind. Hackers are always one step ahead of coders and anything a coder can create a hacker can hack. I use 5 different types of protection for my website and on my server I use tcp/ip filtering and zygate and still on occasion I have been hacked. The object is to make it as difficult as you can so that they will leave you alone and pursue sites that are left more vulnerable.

1.Sygate Firewall is outdated
2.It doesn't work on Windows Server 2003 and 2008
3.Its always useful to move admin.php (rename it even) out of the web server folder,and move it back only when you need it)
4.xampp is pretty good :P recommended
5.100% ? Global MU Online has a better firewall software/hardware than Sygate Pro 5.0 and a better webserver,and they are all heavily enhanced.Do they get hacked?Oh yes ^^

Basically this guide is for good security BUT its not 100% secure.

Sygate is a software firewall.Ever heard of application crashes and bypass?I hope so ;)

Also people use the client to play the game - they inject s**t into it - so you also got to secure your client.

Thank god files these days have security against speed hacks though :P
