    information How to secure MuServer with OutPost Firewall

    Hello RageZoner's .Today I want to make my first contribution to this community by bringing them some of the best security for your Mu Online server. I imagine that most searches for the best security for your server eg: Anti DoS PortScan, I assure you that anti mssql is much safer than the Sygate Firewall. As we know Sygate has no technical support and is very outdated since 2004 more or less the Program use is called Outpost Firewall 2010.

    Download OutPost firewall from Here

    Steps

    Select language

    Press Next

    Accept the terms of use and squeeze next to continue

    Let the two boxes selected and press next

    Here are just tighten next

    Select the folder where you install and tighten next

    Let it be marked to download the latest version and install squeeze

    Start the installation process

    Then select Advanced

    Press NEXT and start the update, then wait

    Squeeze the end and restarted the pc ready

    Copy the registration code

    Squeeze squeeze Settings and enter key

    We press enter key and accept that it is fully registered

    Let's select network rules and settings for ICMP

    Uncheck it checked, go to the next window and do the same and accept

    Then go to system-wide rules and regulations tightened at low

    Select Add and select the box IP is the third box and select TCP and accept

    Then press where it says (and the local port is not defined) and add the port and accept

    to add the port below says (Allow) squeeze twice to stay at Blocking and accepting

    Ports to Block:
    * TCP and UDP DataServer (55 960)
    * DataServer2 TCP and UDP (55 962)
    * TCP and UDP SQLServer (1433)
    * JoinServer TCP and UDP (55 970)
    * 1024 TCP and UDP
    * TCP and UDP 1023
    * TCP and UDP 1033
    * TCP and UDP 1033
    * TCP and UDP 1333
    * TCP and UDP 1334
    * TCP and UDB 55557

    Then add these ports but left open.

    * 55901 GameServer
    * ConnectServer 44405
    * Mureg 1000

    and good to have it blocked ports and other open now going to attack detection and one thing appears to set the level of protection and so we all went up to the maximum security. With that we are protected from many things.

    Those who use Sygate recommend you uninstall them that is useless this is much safer than this little program.

    License code:

    Best Regards and good luck,
    Mu Koderis Server Administrator

    All keys have been removed. Please keep in mind that outside of the "warez" section, keys, or anything related to such isn't allowed.

    Should you want the full version of OutPost Firewall please go to their website and purchase it.

    Thanks
