How to setup MuOnline Ex901 (S9) Server (Video Tutorial)

Installed it on Windows Server 2012R2, everything seems to run and start up. Even GameServer-Shortcut seems to run as it should if you igone the gameshop connection errors.

But when I start GameserverGC-Shortcut nothing happens, cursos changes state, but that is it, no windows open or anything else.

I try to start GameserverGC after GameServer is fully started. But even if GameServer is not started I cannot launch GameServerGC.

And yes I have fixed shortcuts, and double checked the launch parameters. Any help will be greatly appriciated!

@Klemenxer yes sure. Ofcourse there are missing things etc but the server can go live i bet with the bugs etc, also depends on ur configs in the future

Also when talking to some NPC like 3rd class quest npc. I did not add any files to your posted files.

And btw can't change the ServerList.bmd, need editor for Ex901.

Help me change IP :*

Everything seems to work except that when I start Main, after the loading, the message "You have been disconnected from the server" poops up. I changed the ip from the main with my global IP, I also tried the Vikings client and is the same result.

44405, 55901 and 55919 has been forwarded correctly.

2. go to Open Port Check Tool and check port 44405
if says success then ip is not edited correctly in files or client
if says failed then means u didnt forward ports correctly.

There were actually 2 IP's in the main.exe

Gonna change the correct one now and see the results.

Also one more question, on the StartUp application, what IP should I leave there if I wanna make it public? 127.0.0.1 or my global IP?

you only need to edit your IP to
serverlist.dat in connectserver
and data\mapserverinfo.dat
everywhere else must be 127.0.0.1
and in main.exe add everywhere your IP and try again.

Its working! The problem was in the main, I changed the second ip only that's why I couldn't get it to work.

Now I need to figure out how to change the resolution to 1920x following what commandcom said and also get the shopserver to work.

These are kinda buggy files and pain in the butt to make it to work.
If you read whole thread then you maybe find where i wrote how did i get cash shop running.
You shall use MuEmu files instead.Took me like 1 hr to get server running at first time...

Hi Karli! I opened main with XVI32 and not found ip: 192.168.178.69 as your Tutorial ???

a. Open XVI32 From Client\Hex Editor\
b. Browse main.exe from client folder.
c. search for 192.168.178.69. and replace it with your IP by typing it.
d. Run main.exe and test your account .
