isn't that my guide?.. not to install loopback and edit host's in servers and clients?

Come on... this is only a guide! its impossible to me to answer all the questions... even if i'd like to!

MutedX: i don't know that router... but you sure don't need all those ports open :)
try testing the default por 80 (wwwebsites port) if nat is really working

Oke whats ip u use in link 4 and 8?
i use the local that 127.0.0.1

the *.list.dat server files i use the no-ip
and commonserver.cfg i use the local ip too.
last \lang\chs\commanloc.cfg use the no-ip
than are u are done!

P.S if u use 97d go to \lang\kor\commonloc :smilie3:

to WAN & LAN never use 127.0.0.1 = localhost!

but why i can run mine server with ip 127.0.0.1.
I can run mine server with no-ip tooo

Hi Chaveco, this is the first time I can set up the server with WAN IP with your great help !!! Thank you very much. My server work fine with normal gameserver. But the gameserver_cs has problem, it shows "Dataserver connect fail IP(h3ll.selfip.net) PORT (55710), so whenever I move to Deep Loren, I got disconnected.

In the guild you said change the IP of link 4 and 8 to global IP. Did you mean the Join Server (link 4) and GameServer (link 8). HOw about the Gameserver_CS, may I modify the IP to global also?

Ok... this guide is not complete...
you should see others guide... until this point!

I presume that you are stucked in a point where... or you have lan... or you have Wan!
This guide... will help you from here!
-> Uninstall Loopback (Wtf is that :P)
-> If you tested Wan sucessfully, it means that you had already defined the PORTS in you router... so i am not going to remind that again
REMEMBER... USE ONLY THIS GUIDE WHEN YOU TESTED SUCESSFULLY LAN & WAN SEPARATEDELY
-> now... even if you a have a fixed ip, go to No-ip..or dyndns and register a name > ex: mu.no-ip.com
-> In the server put all your *list.dat files with that ip (ex: mu.no-ip.com) except in data/commonserver.dat where you will put 127.0.0.1 (didn't know why.. but only worked that way!)
-> In server open C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\Hosts and add below 127.0.0.1 localhost ->[b]192.168.0.x (your lan Ip) mu.no-ip.com
-> goto your lan clients and also add that line -> ->[b]192.168.0.x (your lan Ip) mu.no-ip.com

you're done...use mu.no-ip.com in the links, and in the lan clients and wan clients

I read all the guides in here... this has a new thing... uses 3 or 4 things that where in separeted guides... I put 3 servers working... with 3 diferent routers... and they are not Passthrough
