Whenever I run data server, i get an error message that says the sql login failed for my admin user. I just checked every ip and password for about the third time. Any thoughts on how to get this fixed? I attached the screen I get.

hey dude, nice guide, i made a guide myself to but..
Now after a year i have a server again, and when my frend tries to join he gets disconnected when he press on the server button.
I don't know anymore how to solve it cause i tried the Windows/system32/drivers/etc/host thingy but that woulden't work either.
Than i also tried the "Microsoft Loopback Adapter" but that didn work either...
Maybe you can help me out?

Remember to delete the files in "D:\Muserver\db"
Right click on the datbase "MuOnline" and go to "All Tasks" -> "Restore database"
Click on From Device
Click on Select Devices
Click on Add
Click on the "..." and go to D:\MuServer\db baks\ and select MuOnline << ( ERROR = device activation error.The physical file name D:\muserver\db\MUOnline_log.ldf may be incorrect. File MuOnline_log cannot be restored to D:\muserver\db\MuOnline_log.ldf.Use WITH MOVE to identify a valid location for the file )
why ?? but rangking it's okay .. Just this file ..
maybe file broken or ???
well the database error is if you are trying to restore a sql server 2005 to sql server 2000 and the above persons error is simply changing the directory to restore in the muserver db location inside where the server files are set up
ok i downloaded all the stuff and then i am at part 2. Server setup II (Starting MSSQL service, downloading and extracting the mu server)
1. Go to "Start" -> "Microsoft SQL Server" -> Run "Service Manager" and press "Start"
2. Download the muserver from one of these mirrors:
TurboUpload.com
SaveFile.com
Files.to
Megashares.com
3. Extract the muserver.rar to "D:\MuServer" (If you dont have D drive I recommend [Guide] How to make a Substitute D: Drive)
4. Go to "Start" -> "All Programs" -> "Microsoft SQL Server" -> Run "Enterprise Manager" - Then click on "SQL Server group" -> "(local) (Windows NT) -> "Databases"
5. Right click in the right coloumn (Where the databases are) and press "New database" - Call it MuOnline and press "Ok"

Whenever I do my server start up it always says something like "loginserverfail" or something like that and I went bak and changed all the ip's u said to change but i also kinda changed some ports to 44405- should i have done that?- and also i get this error when i try to restore my muonline database in the enterprise manager----

srry for double posting i didnt mean to
to get it working on C drive just change all the links (right click>properties) and the SQL restore source (after u restored them, go to options and change D:\Muserver etc to C:\Muserver etc)
thats it...everyone else who says something else like it cant be run at C drive is wrong, i do that atm
