Re: [Guide] Setting up sql2005 express

    I love beating dead horses...

Great guide you made great things possible!

I have been messing around with all sorts of things, and got SQL Express 2008 to run an mu server, don't ask for help, jsut trust me... but the ONLY error I get is one from the client which is a universal "wrong account name or password" and the JS gives me an error which I can't read fully, refer to http://forum.ragezone.com/f193/your-...is-mic-636249/ For more information on my troubles.

I am having problems installing this sql2005 on my winxp sp2. It stops at the middle of the installation, then restarts the computer infinitely.

    Re: Setting up sql2005 express

freshly installed windows? did you see any sexy error messages? you have Micro$oft .NET framework 3.5 or over installed? also before reinstalling it remove all its data directories before try again
also do not download sql2005 from any other place than Micro$oft website(guess why :D)

ask me in YM when you wake up as i have installed it alot times and got similar problems aswell
