Setup 0.99.6+/1.0n/1.0h Server

Requirements...:book:

1. Make sure that your System is capable to operate under extreme CPU stress and
stable...
2. Knows how to tweak OS, optimize applications...
(My server too laggy, GS crashes randomly)

3. Know the basic tcp/ip udp etc to be used, how they work...
4. Knows how to handle networks, port forwarding, filtering, firewall...
(My server hacked, Dupes, Blasted etc...)

5. Must have a hardcore knowledge of the GAME, how the game works, runs and plays...
(At least owns an old server files like 97+++ versions working)

6. Must be resourceful.(Search is your friend!!!)
(Some In-Game options not work, not functioning not working bugged)

7. Most of all don't be Lame/Lazy...

(GOOD configuration of server=stable)


I have made this simple tip/guide so that people will read this before asking some questions on threads of 0.99.6++:gathering


PS.: To all who have fixed their GS pls don't post GS unless post offsets/hex codes so that people will learn to fix on their own and will not rely on someone:Jumpy:

I agree with z3r0tech, but the main problem is so many ppl are putting questions. And filtering out the information you need is sometimes a great task. Specially if each guy makes his own GS fix release, and only puts his GS for dl. Just put the hex parts to edit. I think it would be a great idea to make threads that you can only post fix codes on, message that are questions should be deleted. I hope you understand what i am trying to say.
