I followed the guide but when I run the GS and GSCS files they give me this error.

I think you forgot to config the SQLMANAGERSYSTEM.INI located at the gameserver\configs folder

Managing the Client:

1) Extract the Main you downloaded in the client directory.
2) Run the hexeditor and open the main. Press Ctrl+F and select "Text String", type "connect" and then click on "Text -> Hex". Click on OK to locate the string.
3) Change the "Your IP here" to your IP adress. Close and save the changes.

where is the client directory?

when i open main.exe it loads, and you are disconnected.. how come?

u didnt editf it good then . . search for 'connect' in main 2x times and scroll bit down then u see 2 ip's , then put urs instead.

Now your client is ready. Run the Main.exe and test if your server is working properly, if you get disconnect or nothing happens when you try to connect read again all the process above and you may also find a solution by reading the pages of this thread.

I checked that and I have edited the password for that file in both the GS and the GSCS configs folders

Hello,

I have a problem when running GS/GSCS(EXE FILES):

Error message on both:

I have also this SQL error (SQL server connect fail):
file: WZItemShopServer.exe
on port: 55821 (I have forwarded this but still same problem)

the sql user and password is exactly as same in the enterprise manager program.

something else is that I dont using the local ODBC server (127.0.0.1).

Your SQL is probably not configured, watch video and try again.

I'm have setted the same SQL user and password in all config files excatly as I created in SQL Server Enterprise Manager.

Using SQL Server Group: VICTOR-PC\VICTOR6872 (Windows NT)
I cant use (local), really dont know why.

Maybe this causes the problem.

Hi, when i edit main with hex editor i get error when i try to run the main.exe says: main exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Now you have a problem with your GameServers, they are offline.

GameServer/GameServerCS has unknown error I cant open it :(

and about WZItemShopServer says: "SQL connect fail !"

I have tested the ports via CanYouSeeMe and only 44405 is working.
55901 and 55919 not work cause of GS/GSCS problem

MuMaker not works it says me that I not connected to SQL.

Please Help..

yes ofcourse, but when I try to run the "(local)" server its do nothing..
and when I try to run "VICTOR-PC\VICTOR6872" server its working perfectly.

Maybe this causes the problem ?

I use my PC name and its works.

So why I still getting an error when I trying to run GS/GSCS files ?
and only CashShopServer.exe say me that I not connected to SQL.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit.

Now what about the GameServer/GameServerCS Files??
I get error everytime I try to open these files..
same error and I dont know what this? ..
