Hello, Thank you very much ulfsark for this one, I managed to set it up correctly from the first time (ever) and all seems to be working, just only one thing. If I set my character as Grand Master(I do it from web(setting to Soul Master works)) I cant get into a map. I press connect on the character, but the game freezes on the map image and I have to end proccess of main.exe . While in all chars screen, I can see my character and its noted as Grand master. Got any idea how to fix it? Thanks :)
Use the MuMaker inside the utilities to create your character. When you choose the class, select the one with "jpn" protocol otherwise you can't log in the game.
And by the way, I have updated server files and patch a couple minutes ago, I recommend you to download it again.
Thought Im using SQL server 2008 the MuMaker isnt working :( Any other ideas? :)
I don't know how to change it manually, maybe you can find a MuMaker adapted to sql 2008 or just use the sql 2000 that works quite fine.
the developer says its adapted :( Im running win7 64-bit so I couldnt install SQL 2000. Anyways, maybe Ill find a soliution.
I run on win7 x64 and the sql 2000 works. You must go to "\x86\setup\setupsql.exe" and run it to install on x64 systems.
Edit: Nevermind, got a new problem..
When i click Next of the first part this message comes up ...
" A previous program installation created pending file operations. You must restart the computer before running setup"
help :S

Ok it might get installed, but I have another problem :/. Now when im in game the game closes without any message or anything after like 20s playing. I think somebody has already had that problem cuz i read about it somewhere :). Thanks for your fast replies.

I run the setup of MSSQL 2000, but nothing shows up. If I try to run it one more time it says its already running :/

Well, It seems like I can stay long now, but another problem is that I cant use GM commands while being GM. i have the thing upon my head, and it writes im GM, but i cant use its commands :/

Bigal - binginsin @ That problems with the installation happened for me too, just restart the pc and try again.
After you're using sql 2000 let me know if you still have issues.

Another question, in your guild you say to make database "MuOnline" but you didnt say about making the other two? Only need to make one New database called "MuOnline" or what about "Rankings" etc..?
EDIT: Binginsin - i had the problem that nothing laoded up to but i found a way to stop that, go to task Manager and find "dlhost*32.exe* or something like that and End process and it should work.

Inside the gameserver folder there's a text file nammed GMsystem, there you must edit the name you want to your gm char and put 1 to the commands you want him to use. By default the name of the GM is Admin, you may add as many as you want or just rename it.

This server uses only MuOnline database. The others are already inside it.
Ok thanks. I just wanted to ask about that GM thingy again, but you answered it. I may run the server, but that needs a lot of time...
