help and the gameserver is kinda broken it crashed faster
Question so i did the restore db and all , but didnt test server as ill know it will come up with an error , i was wondering how would i go about getting the IP address needed to change the ip on all the files you have shown to change so that others can connect as well with no problem.
I also get the error when start Muserver.startup " GSDBset ODBC connect fail"
Win10 and Sql 2008 are fine for season1?
the sql shouldnt have any problems, as for win10 there may be incompatibility issues since the executable files are kinda oldQuote:

Did everything the server is up and ready when i open Main exe. I get this app cant run on the pc . For windows 10 home users theres no fix as their is no group policy editors option

@Pein26 like natzugen says Win10 may have some issues because of the incompatibilty of the files. Season 3 is kinda old and outdated in my opinion at least you have some $ to spend on premium files, try another season and your problems might get fixed

I am getting an issue where as soon as I click on a server box like the one below I receive an on-screen message saying:
"New version of game is required
Please download the new version"

Small update: After digging a little bit into this I discovered a solution:
Using HEX editor on Main.exe search for "Failed to connect" a couple of lines above you will find 5 numbers followed by 16 characters. Replace the 5 numbers and the 16 characters to match the version of your server files.
i already have an offline server for a different game so when i open sql server there is already an existing sql server for that game.. how can i make a clean new server for MU without deleting that other game? thankss
I'm not sure if I understood correctly, but it seems to me that you'd simply have to create a new database for your MU server? Someone posted a lovely video somewhere online regarding this.Quote:

Make sure you replace the IP properly. I'm assuming that you replaced any left-over characters with spaces (space is a character!). So instead of pressing space to get rid of characters you have to manually type '00' in HEX. That makes the entry blank.Quote:
