u must make shortcut of ur GS and go properties and put the ports for gs to run.. make more reasearches on the thread for this problem also google too.

ahhhh ..only ports to change ??

Yes marccus u should put ports on gameserver.exe with shortcut .

ill try to put in shortcut .. but i did not understand the guide very will :D

k do this
make shortcut of ur runserver.exe
and put this on Target:
C:\MuOnline91283\GS\RunServer.exe 127.0.0.1 55970 127.0.0.1 55960 55901
under put
C:\MuOnline91283\GS\RunServer.exe

my server run perfectly no error .. season 3.. but, my problem is still the same ,, no log in screen ..

no login screen means ports mate
otherwise ur internet router or modem u got is wireless or something :s

open gameserver.exe and then go on that site

Open Port Check Tool

then check 55901 and 44405.

ERROR ..

Error: I could not see your service on 121.54.47.18 on port (55901)
Reason: Connection timed out


what happen ?

ehh .. means ur ports are not opened so u cant make ur server online as i see

u must open ur ports.. some how

go to start > type cmd and press enter typ ipconfig press enter " default gateway .......... take the IP which is ther 192.168.xx.xx put on URL Adress on firefox or whatever u use and try to login and go to portforwarding and open the ports..

ehmm what other ips u got on cmd> when u write ipconfig?
try them too.. like 192.xxx.xx

Hi karLi, I have a little problem I followed your guide step by step ( The MU Season 4 Guide ), It was wonderful but sadly when I finished every single step and I ran main.exe its empty ( no channel or server list to select ) weird I can't play the server because there is no server at all if you like i can post some screen shots or even a video I would appreciate it if you can help.

BTW : I tried the globel ip and it always disconnect me so i tryed no-ip and now it works but no server list so I can't play :(

BTW2: I already opened the ports 3 ports but on the open port check tool all of the 3 ports are not working every time connection refused :(

BTW3: I heard that a loopback adapter can fix the problem if yes, can you guide me through how to do one :)
